Welcome to the website of Australia's largest centre of Pipe Band excellence. The City of Blacktown Pipe Band fields three competition bands in Grades 4 Grade3 and Grade 1. A vigorous and forward looking program of expert instruction makes Blacktown a great destination for learners and advanced players alike. Blacktown No1 (Grade 1) is always looking for players able to take their place in its existing strong line up. There are multiple pathways to gaining acceptance into Blacktown #1. If you live outside Australia, why not consider our popular Guest Player Assistance Scheme?  It may be that you are elegible to have your return air fare, accomodation support and employment placement covered by the Band.
