OUR GOAL
Our goal is a return to the top of
Grade 1 in Australia and be back at Glasgow Green for the 2012 World
Pipe Band Championships. THE JOB
We are offering you a unique opportunity to take a senior and perhaps
lead role in working together with our existing roster to achieve those
goals. If you are a PIPER
we are happy to look at a 6-12 month stay with us as a 'Guest' player
within the existing ranks of our Pipe Corp.
Continuing membership would be most desirable if
circumstances permit but not essential. If you are a DRUMMER our plans require a longer term outlook. We
envisage this will be a busy 'semi-permanent' appointment as a
Senior Assistant Drum Corporal for DS Keith Tombs across our three
bands. Keith and Ainsley will personally appraise
all expressions of interest with complete discretion and in
absolute privacy. Questions of relocation expenses and attending
to any relevant Australian visa requirements are on the table for
discussion. ABOUT YOU
You will already have a track record at Grade 1 or Grade 2 level
in Britain, Ireland or North America. You will relish the
prospect of furthering your drumming or piping career by playing a
prominent part in the 'reinvention' of one of Australia's iconic bands.
You will have strong formal credentials in piping or drumming and
you will able to point to past achievement in formulating and achieving
your goals. You will most likely have at some time worked within a
multi grade Band organization.
You have probably already spent enough time in Australia to be
confident you will enjoy the great lifestyle on offer in Sydney.
